The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery currently performs over 400 surgeries a year. The department has introduced advanced surgical methods such as percutaneous aortic valve surgery and single-port thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer and makes an effort to relieve pain, minimize wounds, and shorten hospital stay. By using minimal incisions on hyperhidrosis and thoracoplasty, complications are reduced, and through the “one-day clinic” with blood vessel composition and angioplasty, renal dialysis patients can be admitted and discharged in the same day.
