The Gastroenterology Department treats the following types of diseases

Upper- and Lower-Gastrointestinal Diseases: peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional dyspepsia, helicobacterpylori, stomach cancer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, colon polyps, and colorectal cancer. Treatment includes therapeutic endoscopy.

Liver Diseases: acute/chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Pancreatobiliary Diseases: pancreas cystic tumors, cancer, and pancreatitis; biliary tract stones and cancer; and gallbladder polyps, stones, and cancer. Treatment includes ERCP(endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasound.
